When success matters more than UMAT.

Unfortunate is the mistaken belief that the UMAT can't be prepared for and neither can one improve their chances in the interviews,
which are just friendly chats and nothing more! ICARUS College debunks these myths in their super-prep which is a great 2 day prep
tool for getting into the health sciences. Their sample UMAT questions are extensive and give you the experience you need to take
some of the heat off when you walk into the test room. For me, ICARUS College' knowledge of the interview was the most impressive part and
I found out exactly what they meant when I walked into my interviews (even some of the seemingly wild things they said!). I'm now
going to study medicine at UNSW after rejecting UWA and I have many medical school friends that are past ICARUS College students.
Thanks ICARUS College! I hope everyone achieves their goals in the health sciences!

Gaining first choice, the University of Newcastle, on first attempt in
addition to an offer from my second choice, the University of Western
Australia, was the result I aimed for. Taking advantage of courses offered
by ICARUS College, and personal interview training by Dallas, increased my
chances of achieving this aim. Ongoing telephone and email access to Dallas’
extensive industry knowledge, accumulated over years of experience training
applicants for entrance to medical school, was a prized resource. Materials
provided by ICARUS College were well thought out and of an excellent
standard. The Superkeeneye training program in particular is of distinct
advantage to anyone sitting the UMAT. The interview training was
individualised and outstanding. I was undoubtedly better prepared and more
confident as a result. Encountering other medical students who have also
taken advantage of what ICARUS College has to offer is common. I continue to
recommend the college to friends and health care professionals when they ask
about gaining entry to medical school. You may get in the first time without
any training or it may be the second, third, or tenth time. Why risk wasting
your time? Do the training and maximise your chances.

Medical Entrance Personal Training:
A reflection…….
Many people want to do medicine but few succeed at getting in….. After two cracks at it while being a full time pharmacist in Canberra I heard of ICARUS College.
So what was different with my personal experience with Medical Entrance? If you're fair dinkum about your desire you will love it. If you're not don't bother to see them.
In my anxiousness and frustration I had previously not considered why only specific questions are asked at the interview and certainly not the intention and the appraisal my responses would reflect of me.
ICARUS College worked with me to build a custom framework around which to gain an implicit understanding of what each medical school is looking for in a potential doctor. He persisted until we were both satisfied that my responses would impress that I was not merely a contender but someone who lived and breathed the medical profession’s accepted mould of what makes a good doctor.
With all due regard, I would not be studying medicine if I had not invested in their philosophies. Try them, you will certainly not be disappointed.

Virginia Painter
Hi,
It's Virginia here and this is quite late cause I just came back from Vietnam/Port Macquarie. Anyway, thanks for your help cause as I think you know (from my mum), I got into UNSW!. Your incredible support and pushing helped me enormously at a time when I was so busy preparing for my HSC.
As for other stuff, my UMAT aggregate was 275/300 (84, 100, 91). Once again, thanks a lot for helping me with both the UMAT and interview -- I really appreciate it. I wish everyone could train with you privately.
